As an Electrical Technician in overhead line construction, you play a key role in the installation, maintenance, and inspection of high- and extra-high-voltage power lines. You combine electrical engineering expertise with hands-on work on site and make an important contribution to ensuring a safe and reliable energy supply.

Your responsibilities

• Electrical installation, maintenance, and servicing work on overhead line systems
• Technical guidance and support of installation teams
• Work on conductors, insulators, fittings, as well as grounding and protection systems
• Carrying out testing, measurement, and inspection tasks
• Participation in the implementation of safety and quality standards
• Documentation of completed work

Your profile

• Completed vocational training as an electrical technician, electronics technician, electrician, or a comparable electrical qualification
• Ideally, experience in overhead line construction or in the energy infrastructure sector
• Sound technical understanding of high-voltage systems
• Fitness for working at heights and willingness to work outdoors
• Sense of responsibility, attention to detail, and ability to work in a team
• Willingness to travel depending on project requirements
• Valid Class B driving license; Class BE is an advantage
